CleanBreak is a consent-based family bathroom timer. This policy explains what information the app processes and why.
Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address, user identifier, and sign-in provider. For Sign in with Apple, an encrypted revocation token is kept so Apple authorization can be revoked when you delete your account.
- Optional profile information: a profile photo you choose.
- Family information: connections, invitations, roles, and permissions.
- Timer activity: start and stop times, duration, timer participants, reminders, goals, progress, and safety-stop status. Because CleanBreak uses bathroom-session history for habit and wellness features, we treat this as health-related information.
- Device information: push token, app version, platform, device identifier, and presence status.
- Purchase information: subscription product, entitlement, status, and renewal metadata. Payment details are handled by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat; CleanBreak does not receive your full card number.
- Diagnostics: crash reports and technical metadata needed to diagnose failures.
- Product events: limited account-linked events such as invitations, paywall views, purchases, restores, and progress sharing. We do not put names, email addresses, free-form text, symptoms, or timer-session details in product-event properties.
- Invitation information: an email address and permissions supplied by a user who invites someone to a family.
- Usage events: limited first-party events such as paywall views, invitation actions, and purchase outcomes. These events do not contain names, email addresses, or free-form text.
Information we do not collect
CleanBreak does not monitor your camera, microphone, or location during a timer. It does not sell personal information or use it for cross-app advertising.
How information is used
We use information to provide accounts, family connections, timers, notifications, subscriptions, security, support, and reliability. Processing is limited to app functionality, account and subscription management, analytics, fraud prevention, and service improvement.
Service providers
CleanBreak uses Supabase for authentication and application data, Apple Push Notification service and Firebase Cloud Messaging for notifications, Firebase Crashlytics for diagnostics, and RevenueCat plus Apple/Google for subscriptions when billing is enabled. Resend processes transactional family-invitation email when email delivery is enabled. Google and Apple process optional sign-in. These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy terms.
Storage, security, and retention
Authentication tokens are stored in the device Keychain or Keystore. Network traffic uses TLS. Account data is retained while the account is active and removed when account deletion completes. Store and payment providers may retain transaction records under their legal obligations. Security, fraud-prevention, and financial records are retained only for the period required by applicable law or to resolve an active dispute. Deleting a CleanBreak account does not cancel an active Apple App Store or Google Play subscription; cancel it in the applicable store to stop renewal.
Your choices
You can change notification, family, and timer permissions in the app. You can delete your account from Settings → Privacy Center → Delete account. See the account deletion page for details.
Children
CleanBreak is designed for adults age 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
